LOst item – terminal/tsa

If you believe you left an item in the terminal or at the TSA security screening checkpoint, please fill out the following form:

Our Airport Ambassadors can assist with inquiries for essential items only 4am-12am daily. Essential items are passports, driver’s licenses, wallets, prescription medications, prescription glasses, medical supplies, keys, cell phones, and car seats.

Airport Ambassadors are located throughout the airport. They are wearing a safety vest.

How long does it take for a found item to appear in the system?

It typically takes 24 to 72 hours for an item to be collected by custodial staff, turned over to the proper department, and logged into the electronic tracking system.

Can someone else pick up my item for me?

Yes, but it must be pre-arranged. The person picking up your item must have valid photo identification, the lost item number, and written authorization from you.

Will the airport ship my found item to my home?

Yes—using FedEx flat-rate shipping boxes. However, the customer is responsible for purchasing the shipping label and emailing it to the customer service agent assisting with the item retrieval.

How long do airports hold unclaimed items?

Unclaimed items are typically held for 30 days. After the holding period, items are either donated or disposed of in accordance with local regulations and policies.
